Starting this April, my blog will recommend a book every month. And I know so well that you are the people who will be far more than interested in reading books. Remember, a good writer is a good reader.

According to my research, this book is a young adult dystopian thriller. It was published last November 15, 2011 and it is the first book in the Shatter Me trilogy. Unravel Me and Ignite Me are the second and third books, respectively. I first laid eyes on it on January of this year. Our local bookstore was displaying best-selling novellas and this was on the said shelf. Not only this is a best-selling book, but this is also displayed for marketing purposes of the book signing event this April, here in my country. Tahereh Mafi will be joining Ransom Riggs, who wrote “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” and “Hollow City” (the second novel of “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children”), and Veronica Rossi, the author of the “Under the Never Sky” trilogy.

25 days to go before I meet Tahereh Mafi!
